§ 1 General Terms and Conditions

The following general terms and conditions apply exclusively to contracts with private customers. Our website and its contents are intended solely for your private and non-commercial use. Use of our website or its content for other than private and non-commercial purposes is prohibited.

The terms “we”, “us”, “our” etc. used in these General Terms and Conditions refer to the sole proprietorship Ich Königskind. The terms “you”, “your”, “your” etc. used in these General Terms and Conditions refer to natural or legal persons who visit our website or buy products via our website.

We can make changes to these general terms and conditions without notifying you. The current general terms and conditions are posted on the website. You should review them before using the website to ensure that you are aware of the applicable terms. Use of this website is subject to the terms and conditions applicable at the time of use.

These general terms and conditions are exclusively subject to German law. As contract language german will be available exclusively.

§ 2 minors

This website is not intended for use by children or minors under the age of 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase on the website.

§ 3 conclusion of contract

When you place an order with us, you are offering to purchase products in accordance with these terms and conditions; declare that you are at least 18 years old; you represent that all information you provide in connection with this order is true and correct; and confirm that you are an authorized user of the payment method provided.

As a customer, you have the option of selecting and ordering products on our website using Internet-enabled communication media. You can click on the products you have selected to find out about the properties of the products. You have the option of collecting the products you have selected in a virtual shopping cart.

Your order is fulfilled as soon as you click the “Buy” button during the ordering process. By clicking on “Buy” you are submitting a binding contract offer to purchase the goods in your shopping cart. The confirmation of receipt of the order follows after the order has been sent and does not yet constitute an acceptance of the contract. A valid contract is only concluded when we dispatch your order and you receive a dispatch notification from us by email. We reserve the right to accept your contract offer within 14 days and to reject your contract offer. In such a case, you will be informed by us by email.

§ 4 prices and costs

The prices for the products displayed on our website include the applicable value added tax ("VAT"). If the VAT rate changes between the date of your order and the date that payment for your order is received, we will correct the VAT you owe.

The prices and products displayed on our website are subject to change. We reserve the right to change this at any time. However, when you order products through this website, you pay the price that was displayed at the time you placed the order. The prices displayed on the website are only valid at the time they are displayed. All prices stated on the website are in euros (€).

Possibly. there are shipping costs for your order. Please see our shipping and payment conditions. If so, these will be displayed before you check out.

We accept multiple payment methods. We currently accept payment in advance, by instant transfer, credit card, PayPal, on account, American Express, Apple Pay, Bancontact, Google Pay, iDEAL, Maetro, Mastercard, ShopPay, SOFORT, VISA.

§ 5 right of withdrawal

You can revoke your contract offer to us within 14 days without giving reasons in writing (e.g. letter or email). The period begins after receipt of the order confirmation, but not before receipt of the goods by the recipient (in the case of recurring delivery of similar goods, not before receipt of the first partial delivery) and also not before the fulfillment of our information obligations in accordance with Article 246 § 2 in conjunction with § 1 Paragraph 1 and 2 EGBGB as well as our obligations according to § 312g paragraph 1 sentence 1 BGB in connection with Article 246 § 3 EGBGB. Timely sending of the cancellation is sufficient to meet the cancellation deadline:

Consequences of resignation

In the case of an effective cancellation, the mutually received services are to be returned. If you are unable to return or surrender the received service or uses, or only in a deteriorated condition, you must pay us compensation. You only have to pay compensation for the deterioration of the item and for any benefits drawn if the use or the deterioration can be attributed to handling the item via testing and trying out the respective goods, as is possible and customary in a shop, for example, goes out. 

You have to bear the costs of the return if the goods delivered correspond to the goods ordered and if the price of the goods to be returned does not exceed an amount of 50.00 euros. Otherwise, the return is free for you. Obligations to reimburse payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. The period begins for you when you send your declaration of revocation.

§ 6 Shipping, delivery and return

The delivery of goods is subject to availability as soon as we have documented your order to you by means of an order confirmation. We send goods from Scharbeutz within Germany on account, PayPal or against prepayment and American Express, Apple Pay, Bancontact, Google Pay, iDEAL, Maetro, Mastercard, ShopPay, SOFORT, VISA .

Our shipping partner is DHL.

Depending on the delivery weight and scope of the shipment. From an order value of € 39.00, we deliver free of charge within Germany.

Dear customers from Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Norway and Iceland, please inform yourself about applicable VAT / customs fees for your country. We deliver franking 20 DAP, duty unpaid, untaxed.

Dear customers outside the EU, for shipping to third countries we ship internationally for 19,90€.

We deliver at the latest within 3-4 working days after receipt of order, delivery within Germany (Monday - Saturday. Sundays and holidays excluded), at the latest within 6-7 working days after receipt of order, delivery to EFTA countries and third countries (Monday - Saturday. Sundays and public holidays excluded).

You can return the goods to us within 14 days without giving a reason. In this case we ask you to pay the shipping costs. When returning the goods, we naturally assume that the declining products are in an objectively flawless and undamaged condition. We do not take back damaged or visibly used goods or specially made, individual products.

If you want to return the item after 14 days, we kindly ask you to contact us. Should there be any discrepancies, we are always ready for an open, clarifying discussion. If you do not like the goods you have ordered or if you want to exchange the goods, we ask you to place a new order and contact us.

If your order is delivered with obvious transport damage, we ask you to complain immediately to the deliverer and to refuse acceptance and to inform us immediately by email or telephone so that we can protect any rights against the transport company. Failure to pass on the information to us has no consequences for you, it only supports your claim against the transport insurance. 

§ 7 Terms of Payment

If you pay by invoice, we will send you the goods without you having to pay in advance.

We will include the invoice in the package and you can conveniently pay the invoice within 14 days by transferring it to our account.

§ 8 Delay in acceptance or payment

If you do not accept the goods at the agreed place of delivery or do not collect them in a reasonable time from the DHL Parcel Shop, we are entitled to withdraw from the contract after setting and unsuccessful expiry of a grace period of 14 days.

§ 9 retention of title

The delivered goods remain the property of Ich Königskind until they have been paid for in full. Title to the products passes to you upon receipt of full payment for these products at Ich Königskind.

§ 10 Warranty and Limitation of Liability

We sell handcrafted products. Each product is processed individually and is therefore unique. We guarantee the INDIVIDUAL manufacture of our products in Uganda. There may be deviations in color, shape and weight.

If there are major defects in the product for which we are responsible, we will of course fix them. Please contact us by phone or email. Please note that the warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, willful damage, improper use and storage. For defective products, we will offer you either a refund or credit for the purchase price and shipping costs, repair of the defective product or a replacement of the product.

We assume no liability for the closures.

THE CLOSURES ARE NOT NICKEL-FREE, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING ALLERGIES.

Furthermore, I give Koenigskind no assurances that access to the website will be uninterrupted or error-free; that defects in the website are corrected or that the website or the server through which the website is made available to you is free of viruses, Trojans, bugs or the like.

The website is owned and operated by the sole proprietorship Ich Königskind. The entire content of the website, including texts, graphics, photos, images, moving images, sounds, illustrations and software (hereinafter: "CONTENT"), is the property of Ich Königskind. All elements of the website, including the general design and content, are protected by copyright and other rights. Unless otherwise stated on the website, duplication, editing, translation, storage, processing of the content, in particular the use of image and text material, are not permitted.
